ADVANTAGES OF Aluminium oxide

Aluminium oxide, better known as alumina, is widely used in technical applications, and has proven its worth in materials with between 80 and more than 99% content of aluminium oxide. Its widespread adoption was largely the result of its outstanding electrical insulation properties.

The mechanical properties of aluminium oxide coming from different producers can vary considerably due to differences in the recipe of the powders. For example the grain size influences enormously the resistance of thermal shock.
